Youth Theatre
MCYT is part of Mid Cheshire Musical Theatre Company which is a long standing registered charity based in Northwich. Both the adult and youth section is a voluntary organisation run by a small group of adult volunteers.
Our theatre workshops and rehearsals taught by theatre teachers and dance choreographers are every Thursday evening at Davenham Primary School where we work towards our big onstage productions at The Grange Theatre and Northwich Memorial Court.
We are a fully inclusive and friendly musical theatre group for children aged between 10 - 18 and only charge a small membership fee to cover our running costs which allows us to give the opportunity for most children, the chance to be part of a professional theatre production and to perform on stage!
Our Recent Production of Frozen JR
In October 2023 our production of Disney's Frozen JR. was performed at the Grange Theatre, Hartford. All the cast worked really hard and dedicated many hours of rehearsals to deliver an amazing and successful performance that was greeted by standing ovations!
We were very lucky to have our very own Costume Designer, Lauren Jones who produced dozens of unique designs for the cast and ensemble with the help of Costume Producer, Lynn Standish-Dixon.
